Hi Niranjan,
If you don't want to plan the material though MRP then best way is MRP type ND.

It is raw material the IN MRP 4 view you will get option MRP dependent reqt- select as 1 or If it is Finish product then select the ND as MRP type.

Hi,
You can avoid planning / procurement of material by following ways :
1. Setting MRP Type in MRP-1 View as ND ( No Planning)
2. If you want to block procurement of material in all plants then in Basic Data 1 -
> X-plant Material Status -
> Choose 01 / 02
3.If you want to block procuremnt of material in single plant then in MRP -1 View-----> Plant-sp. matl status as 01 / 02.
Hope this helps.
Revert if still any doubt.
Regards,
Tejas

Hi,
You can use MRP type ND - no planning
Or in material master MRP4 view Material dep requirement - select material dep req not planned.
Or you can use MRP area.
Or you can use planning time fence, to avoid automatic planning during MRP run.
