my client wants hyphen, space , comma for the finish product number range

can anyone tell me how to do this..

please if possible explain complete process..

Every thing is possible.

Go to Material type details and tick on "Exernal no assignment w/o check" and essure that you have not assigned this material type to any group.

Using the above three in a Material Code is not Possible with Standard SAP. Try Enhancements MGA00002 & MGA00003 on Material Master Number Ranges.....

Hi,

Not sure why you want to use space!

You cannot achieve this with standard processing of internal number range. Since, the system will increment the number based on the internal number range definition you cannot have those.

You will have two options:

1. Use enhancement/BAdi to insert hyphen to the finished product numbers. System will generate the number based on the number range definition and you will insert hyphen before saving it to the database.

2. Use External Number Range.
