L00 and L01 Concept in Universe from SAP BW

Hi i have created the universe fro SAP bw cube.

When i see the structure on left hand panel of universe then then the fields are categorised as L00 and L01.

Could anyone explain the exact concept of L00 and L01 or send me a link of any document which clearly explain this concept.

Could you please put more light , like exactly those are and how these are effecting the the reports.

By L00 - means at aggregated level - what does it exactly mean ?

By L01 - ?

Hi,

Normally designer creates a class containing the characteristic as two dimension objects: L00 and L01.

L00: dimension represents the aggregation of the characteristic when all members are selected (the member returned from BW is All members).

L01: it contains all the members of characteristic as flat list of values.

As far as my understanding goes, as BW query is generally multidimensional, there will be different levels of aggregation for a characteristic which is stored in L00 dimension and all the list of values of characteristic are stored in L01.
