Hi,

Yes you can create it but why do you want to create it without BOM?

It will give error during consultancy check.

You need to maintain BOM selection ID in OPPQ is mandatory.

When i create production version it need to enter bom & task list.

So how it is possible to create without bom or routing

Yes you are right but system will allow you to create but in further processing it will give you message NO BOM found.

Hi Sarang,

Go to C223.

Enter Plant and Material code.Then press Create tab.

just give plant,version name and Description.You have to maintain Valid from to TO date and Lot size.

System will not ask you to maintain Routing and BOM.

But will you pls explain what is your requirement. or It is just for knowledge purpose.Don't try it in production server other wise it might possible in future you will come with new thread like BOM is not exploding during MRP.

production version itself define that it should include BOM and Task list( routing, master recipe, rate routing).

so you can not make Production version without BOM and Routing

Not possible.

Production version is defining BOM with routing. Without BOM not possible to create.
