PMW vs Automatic Payment

Hi Friends,

What is the difference between Payment Method Workbench and Automatic Payment Method.

Please let me know the advantages of PMW.

As per my knowledge PMW can use with different countries also were as we can't use with Automatic Payment method.

In Automatic Payment Method we can only use same country with different company code.

Is any other features are in PMW pls.. let me know.

Your assumption is wrong on the difference between PMW and method, in fact your question itself is not correct.

PMW is used to define the output in a payment method.

SAP has given two options for generating a payment output, the PMW and the classic payment program. There are classic programs available for many countries, however, as laws and bank requirements change, the outputs need to change. Modifying the classic program is more complex whereas PMW is pretty flexible. You can design your own formats using DME Engine based on data from the payment program.

Other than flexibility and variety of output, there is not much of a difference between the two.
