Hiding Rows in Web using Class

Hi SDN Community,

We have created a chart on a data provider query.

In the query, we have 12 structure elements for each month, and a 13th structure element to produce Overall Result.

(we require this configuration)

In order to split the series so only a point appears in the chart for the Overall result, we have put a blank row in between. We then suppress the results, and the values.

This gives us what we require.

There is a SAP how to paper to hide rows using CLASS.

We can use this to hide a row number 13.

Although we have not implemented this, i imagine when you do OLAP analysis a drilldown , the rows that are then produced in the hundreds will have blank rows for that drill down characteristic. (due to the suppression of the values from the initial view of the query)

Questions:

- Is there any way to produce a chart from a subset of a chart (dataprovider)

- Any other suggestions.

Hi SDN Community,

I have seen the new WAD and it now seems that series can be selected from a dataprovider.

This now gives us the solution we require.

To be implemented yet, but i believe we have our solution.
