NVARCHAR SQL Error

Former Member

Hey all,

I am using RetailOne by Navigator and while upgrading and copying databases somehow I believe it has become corrupted.

We get the following SQL error when trying to add information to the R1 Registers user-defined table, in fact we get the following error when trying to input data into ANY UDT:

[Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server]Conversion failed when converting the nvarchar value '-3 @NBS_R1REG' to data type int. (CINF)

Not sure if anyone has heard of this error or knows what I could do to avoid having to start over with a new database.

I'm downloading another patch level up, but I'm not sure if that is a smart thing to do. I'm wondering if it might fix some of the tables during the upgrade.

Any thoughts would help,

Mike

PS. I have tried all sorts of different numeric and alphanumeric strings in all of the fields and it doesn't seem to help the problem at all.
