MRP isn't including Reciept Reservation(debit) after the last requirement

Hi,

I have a situation in MRP.

We have defined negative component (A)quantity in production order. The reciept reservations ( movement type -531, debit indicator set, movement allowed set on release) is created for this component. But in some production orders same component is defined with credit indicator which creates issue reservation (261).

Hence in MD04 component A has both receipt reservation and issue reservation.

Problem :

When run MRP(MD02), net requirement calculation includes all reciept reservations before the last reuirement. But It doesn't include any receipt reservation which is after the last requirement.

I checked if there is any possibilities in Rescheduling Check Config, but receipt reservation is not the part settings.

Please Advise.

Hello,

First let us the Lot size you are using. I guess it is not EX,

If it is period lot size please let us know "scheduling field" of lot size maintained at SPRO.

Please also check with planning horizon and rescheduling horizon.

Thanks! Guys. Planning Horizon 999 days, Rescheduling Horizon 360 days and Lot size EX. Rescheduling Check configuration is not defined for Reciept Reservation.

Hi Pradeep

I think if you check(tick the check box) the resheduling check configurtion for the recipte elements your issue will be resolved.

There are two things in reshheduling configuration one is reshedule in and other is reshedule out, when we donot tick these check boxes the system does resheduling out and when these tick is there it does resheduling in and resheduling out also happens as a default phenomenon.

Resheduling in means, according to the resheduling horizon system calculates a forward date(Replenishment lead time + Resheduling horizon) and what ever free recipts are available in the future after the requirment are resheduled to earlier dates and netted to the requirments. Please note the delivery dates of those recipte are not changed a resheduling proposal in transaction MD04.

Hi! Pradeep,

I don't see any problem in the given stock requirement list details. Can you elaborate the issue/requirement.

Yes! Calculation is right in MD04 as shown in above message. The requirement is MRP should include every existing receipt reservation wether it's availability date is in past or future. All past reservations are included in MRP calculation but not the future one OR any receipt reservation which exist after the last one requirement.

9/22/2008 OrdRes 3- 2-

9/24/2008 OrdRes 2 0

12/3/2008 PurRqs 2 2

In this example;

Issue reservation - 9/22/2008 3-

recept reservation - 9/22/2008 1

recept reservation - 9/24/2008 2

-

Available Stock - 0

MRP skipped Reservation (9/24/2008 OrdRes 2) because its availability date is after the 9/22/2008 and created purchase requisiton for 2.

Requirement is "system should include all reservations in net requirement calculation" either its before requirement or after requirement.

Hi

check reschedulling horizon in OPPQ if it is a plant, or check OPPR if u r maintaining MRP groups. Increase the days to 999, and run MRP.
