Moved some Crystal Reports from 8.5 to 10. They all work except one.

The report runs, then stops.

It brings up the Formula Workshop - Format Formula Editor - Suppress (No Drill-Down)

Highlights one of the Formula Fields, which is in used as part of record selection, then stops

Go to [http://service.sap.com]

In that go to SAP Support Portal ->Help & support tab ->Report a Product Error

You would have to supply Customer number and User ID and it would allow you to create a case (incident).

You can also call on our CIC numbers if you face any issues and they would be able assist you in creating an Incident.

Hi Yarko,

It means, the report is not able to recognize the formula which is written in record selection. Please comment that formula and check whether the report works fine or not. If it works fine then you will have to search for a formula equalient to.

Thanks,

Thank you, for your time and idea.

I did not phase my question all that well,

becuse I'm not sure what is occuring.

The report starts to run then stops.

The Formula Workshop - Format Formula Editor - Suppress (No Drill-Down) window is displayed.

In the left pane, the first folder in the tree is

Error:

X-1 Suppress (No Drill Down)

: "byBranch"

{@gltype}: "Assets"

In the editing pane,

the {@gltype} is highlighted

The contents of the editing pane appear look like a Selection Formula,

but the text is not anywhere in the Selection Formulas folder.

So where is this text coming from.

HI..

Could you please check whether you have a formula called 'gltype' under your formula fields. Also please go in Section exprt and check the suppress conditions.

In one of your suppress condition, it is using the above formula. I think the above formula is missing or renamed.

Please check the above.

Thank you all for your time.

This appears to be a Formatting Formula problem.

All Formula Fields are present and spelled correctly.

This was done. It didn't help.
