COPA - Planned Vs. Actual cubes in BW (How to split extraction)

Hey Everyone,

I'm about to create the data source for COPA using KEB0. From my understanding, it will load any data related to the Operating Concern and its tables (i.e. CE1XXXX being Actual, CE2XXXX being Planned, etc.).

My question is how do I split the Actual data from the Planned data, so that the Actual data flows into the Actual infocube and the Planned data flows into the Planned cube?????

I decided to split out the extraction by creating a Generic Datasource, which will only pull the data from CE2XXXX, and load it into the Planning cube.

Data will be splited absed on VERSION ( you can find this object in the data source) Ex: version 10 actual and version 20 planned.

Hi Chandra,

I don't think we can split by Version since Version equalling '0' represents both Actual and Plan data.

Add value type = 10 for Actual and 20 for Plan. Split the data out by value type.

Value type should already be there, if not add it in and fill it with the user exit.
