can't create association in content maintenance; Logical Identity

Hi All,

I just try to migrate XI SLD from HP-UX to AIX. I follow

the documentation and at the step of Content Maintenance

=> subset: Landscape Description => class XI Integration

Server => choose Association link => New Association

=> XI Integration Server Logical Identity => choose one

of the business system, but I got the error as below:

<b>Can't create association. com.sap.lcr.api.cimclient.LcrException: CIM_ERR_FAILED: Qualifier MAX(1) violated for property reference SAP_XIIntegrationServerLogicalIdentity.SystemElement</b>

It seems that it's already assigned to Business System but

when I saw in associated instance the content is only:

<b>XI Contained Integration Server

GroupComponent: XI Domain Domain s0001.astra-honda.com</b>

How to fix the problem ?

I have not faced this directly,check this,

and also the CIM definations as discussed in this post.

Thanks for the reply.

I have also already reviewed that thread and it doesn't

related to my problem. It seems that cim content has

an entry of association xi integration server. I try

to remove the association on the domain but unfortunately

the content is not there so when I try to re-associate

XI cim complain that the entry is already there MAX(1)

violated.

Where can I remove associate BS from the domain ?

Hi,

go to

=> subset: Landscape Description => class XI Domain => choose Associated instances

See if the one you would like to remove is here.

However, I think it would make more sense removing the BS which is linked to the integration server, together with its associations. Be very careful when carrying out this kind of operations, otherwise you will fall into inconsistencies which may be very difficult to find!!
