Adding custom search help in standard BP Search

Hi All,

when creating an order and on selecting the partner for the partner function there comes a search help to search a BP based on different criteria's, i need to add a custom search help with my search criteria.

how can i do?

Hi ,

Standatd search help for BP in business transaction is COM_PARTNER.

It has a serach help exit : BUS_SHLP_EXIT1

in that u wil find badi : BUPA_SHLP_CONTROL.

Impliment this BADI and get ur customized search help , u can even remove the standard search help , however make sure that is applicable in ur entire landscape where ever serach help com_partner is used.

Any idea how to remove this standard search help? Because this search help is assigned to the BP's in standard SAP screen.

I have a similar requirement. Please elaborate on this.

Hi Saket,

Check BADI BUPA_SHLP_CONTROL, which has method FILTER_INCL_SHLP to control search helps in BP. You can remove the standard search help by deleting coresponding entry from Changing parameters CT_SHLP_TAB of the method .

You can refer one of the standard implementations for the above BADI , where search helps are removed based on conditions

one of the Standard implementation: FSBP_SEARCH_HLP_EXIT
