Kanban - External Procurement strategy

Hello Experts,

I am using Kanban External procurement strategy and goods are issued to cost center from Kanban storage location. I already selected correct strategy at Control cycle, as long as i follow the standard sequence like WAIT -> EMPTY-FULL there no problem.

My problem is the material has some initial stock at kanban storage location, means before i start above kanban cycle. How i cosume that stock using kanban cycle, is it possible. Other wise stock will be got increased.

Any one have same experience please let me share

Hi,

As u told material has some initial stock at kanban storage location.

Eg.

kanban storage location stock is 120.00qty.KANBAN bin number is 3 with 40.00qty.

So initially when u create control cycle then change the bin status from "wait --> Full" manually through

PK31 transaction.

So once bin become empty then trigger kanban card.

Hello Vijay,

Thanks for your reply, the problem is with goods issue to costcenter. we found the solution to consume the initial stock. Actual qty field in qty/batch tab at PK31 will serve the Purpose.
