Hello,
when creating a bank master record (FI01 - not house bank), we wish to make the SWIFT code required. Is there anyway to do this through stnadard customizing or is the only solution a user exit?
thank you
Daniel
Please read the help text on field 'Bank data' checkbox (under Further Checks section) in Transaction Code OY17. This is the only configuration that I can think of, that controls SWIFT code while creating bank master data.

Thank you, I suspected that the only way was through a user exit, since I have looked hard and haven't found any place in customizing to make it a required field, thanks for confirming

Thank you,
I have checked this transaction and it seems that this only checks the length of the SWIFT code if it is informed, but it doesn't control whether it is a required field or not. In any case, thanks for your answer
Regards
Daniel
