Hi all,
One computer on our network keeps lossing the SAP Server settings. We have to keep set them up everytime they want to use SAP. How do i sort this out?
Thanks.
Dear Betty,
Are you getting this issue in 2007A version or any previous version of SAP Business One.
If you are working with 2007A version then please do the following steps :
1. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\<userid>\Local Settings\Application
Data\SAP\SAP Business One.
2. Take a back up of all the files and delete all the files available in that above path.
3. Then start the SAP Business One application and eneter all the server information and loginto the
database.
4. After that close the application by using (File + Exit) or (CTRL+Q)
After that please open the application again and check whether the connection settings are available or not.
If you are using any previous version please refer to note no. 1153036 to get the details information about the user login
details path. Then check the permission setting of the user to update the information in the above path as per note : 1153036

Hi Betty,
In order to solve this problem, please check network connection first. Then just reinstall B1 to see if it can be fixed.
If you have done all but problem still, then OS might need to be reinstalled to have a fresh system. There are too many possibilities including virus, malware... That list is too long to be mentioned.
Thanks,
Gordon
