no Email connection

Hi All,

Sending E-mail via SAPCONNECT and Receiving E-Mails via XI E-Mail

Adapter not possible for the system.

1.Sending E-mails

Error message in SOST XS816

Message cannot be transferred to node SMTP due to

connection error (final)

(logon in back end and use transaction SOST)

seems to be that the SCOT is not administered in the right way

(proxy stuff, default domain).

Kindly suggest in this issue.

You will have to configure SAPConnect properly (which in turn configures the SMTP plug-in of SAP) in SCOT and make sure the profile parameters are working fine and the Background Job (which in turn executes repots RSCONN*) is scheduled appropriately.
