returnable packaging

Dear sap gurus,

i had created a sale order for ret packaging material.i saved the order.

i could not able to do the delivery ,ret. packing material.

please explain

Hello Divya,

I recommend you to check the require settings one more time.

Ensure your returnable packaging material should contain LEIH as an u201CItem category Groupu201D in Material Master and in the item category determination (T Code VOV4) check the configuration with your Sales Document Type + Item Category Group ( Material Master) should give the default item category as TAL is in active.

Eg:

OR + LEIH = TAL.

Still if you are getting the error let me know the error with the description so that I can try to figure it out.

Your question is not clear.

Still you check that the Item category group for the Returnable Packaging material must be "LEIH".

Set the Item category determination in Delivery for the Returnable packaging material as below,

Delivery Type (e.g LF) + Item category group ( LEIH ) + Item usage (PACK) = Item category (TAL)
