Hi SAP Gurus,

My client requirement is that, PR should be closed after 3 months in absence of further action.

How can we achieve this scenario?

Go to SPRO->Materials Management->Purchasing->Purchase requisition-->Define tolerance limit for archiving

Here select the document ( NB) go for details. Select the residence time 1 & 2. we have to give the days for blocking of indent.

This process will help you

Hi,

Go to SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Purchase Requisition > Define Tolerance Limit for Archiving > Here Set the Residence time 1 & Residence time 2 for the PR Document Type with Item Category as per requirement.

- Residence time 1 for items without a deletion indicator. Before the deletion indicator is set for a document item, the system checks when the relevant item was last changed. The date of the last change is compared with the current date. If no change has been made within the residence time 1 entered , the deletion indicator is set for the item.

- Residence time 2 for items with a deletion indicator. For requisition items for which the deletion indicator was set manually or during the archiving run, the system checks how many days have elapsed since the deletion indicator was set. The whole document is only archived if:

Small query to your solution. With this the PR will get deleted without any furthur action after the specified no of days?

No, You have to run archive program and system will consider the PRs automatically if days are crossed than the defined residence days.
