planning calendar

Hi Gurus,

i have one issue here regarding Planning calendar.

I have defined some planning calendar but none has been assigned to Material.

But when i run MRP and see the result then it took one of the planning calendar in consideration or treat it as default.

How it is possible?

One more thing..what is connection betwwen planning calendar and factory calendar..

Check what is the factory calendar maintained for that plant and see whether it is the same that was picked by MRP run??

pl check wether you have maintained the Planning cycle in materil master MRP view 1

and planning calender in MRPview 2

Hi,

Planning calender is for that perticular material where as factory calender is for total plant. One may that material for the production on perticular day or not. Its the wish of manufacturer or MRP controller.

In MD61 we will be giving the planning horizon for the material.

May be in PIR creation initial screen you have to select period format as calender format.

No direct relation.
