Hi All,
In our organisation when we move an employee from fixed-term contract conversion to permanent contract, we change the original position number manually to the new one (in PA40, action type "Change to employment type", right the next screen Copy actions, Organizational assignment, position), for any reason, the new position won't go into status "filled" but remains "open".
Can you please help me to know the reason as to why even after the employee is assigned the status remain "open".
Also let me know the process to correct the same.
