Client Error

Hi all,

I have updated my sap B1 2007 to patch 04. server is working fine. but when i tried to log on from client machine It gives warning message that client need to be updated and sap business one is shutting down

with yes or no option. When I press yes SAP is closed and internal error message is comming.

How to upgrade the client?

Hi Shashi,

In case of any applications not only B1, admin right will be needed in the installation process to write some files to the system directory.

Hi Shashi,

are you part of the ramp-up for 2007B? The version is not in GA yet.

If you are part of the RU program, please upgrade to the current patch level (06) & if you encounter any problem, please log a support ticket.

I dint understand what is GA or RU program mean?

We have Sap2007B rampup version with patch 04. In server I can able to logon to sap database

The only problem is with the clients. Should I ask administrator to logon client machine in administrative mode?

try it. i have got a similar problem at updating the client machine. so i ask the admin for the installation. that solved the problem.

No, so should i ask the network admin to log on as administrator and install it?
