hi friends..

we have two company codes, one plant in each company code, the raw mat of company 1 is the finished in company 2 can we give the same material no to both roh and fert.

Hi,

You can't have one material number for two different material master at the same time. Material number is unique at client level - one record can exist in table MARA.

You'd better choose / customize a suitable material type (e.g. HALB) and you can create a material master and use it in both plant (with same ID).

No not possible

first only extend material with MM01

Check your plant dependent entry (MM02) for 2 nd plant means Finish material having Sales view and MRP Views

Dear,

The basic data in material master are maintain at client level.

We can not maintain the same at company code level. So in your case you have to maintain two seperate code for different companies, with different matl type.
