Hi Gurus,

Can any one tell me why dont we do credit check on Credit memo Req and Debit memo request. Can you please justify it functionally .

Dear Friend,

A credit memo request can only be generated from a reference document as part of standard functionality.

So when your previous document : Billing and accounting documents there is a reason for the Credit / debit

1. billing corrections

2. Wrong billing done.

3. some discounts to be given after billing done

4. rebate agreements

Unless the preceding document allows the credit/Debit memo cannot be generated.

Thus what is feel is credit check is done on the documents before the credit memo request.
