Depreciation run

Hi All,

My client is having 3 regions called ASIA , US and Europe,

for each region we have job (both Test and Update) for Depreciation run, the test job will run weekly but update job will run monthly, than only documents will update.

Here my question is why should the test job will run weekly?

Hi Lakshman,

For the working from montly depreciation there is no need to run weekly a test run for the depreciation.

Monthly:

The best is to run first a test run in Batch, look in the spool if there are no errors, when there are errors solve the problem and rerun the test run and when there are no errors you can run the update run. The best is to set up SCMA - Schedule Manager for this so that you can follow up the steps
