hi,

The material which can be inventorised and can be stored in the warehouse is called stock material ..it hits GR/IR account when GR is done for the material....

Jus opposite to it is non-stock material..

the material which when posted hit the accounting is called valuated material...for such mtrl you store the ACCOUNTING VIEW in MMR...

The material which will be directly consumed after and are not stored at any place is called consumable material..for this you use account assignment in PO

The non-consumable material is nothign but stock material...
