Make your query clear. If a component is maintained in BOM of inhouse manufactured material, then before releasing the Production Order, the mateiral needs to be in stock. If this component material is externally procured, then system created MRP PR at the time of carrying out MRP based on the material requirement. Using this PR, the Materials department create PO on the desired vendor & mateiral is received. This received material is made available to the production order.
