Table partner of vendor

what is the table from where I can get the vendor partner function description,

like we get for customer partner function as kunn2?

but in wyt3 table, there is no such field like kunn2?

I need the name of the vendor which is assigned to that particular partner function.

like for vendor abc there are partner functions a1 a2

and for a1 , vendor xyz is attached....

I need the name of that vendor xyz

Do I understand correctly, you want to pick up a partner function, for example VN, and then get the actual partner function description, in this case "Vendor"?

If you need this functionality, than on the partner function tab of the sold-tos you need to maintain entries in field "Partner Description" (Table: KNVP; field: KNREF).

Or are you instead looking at getting the partner NAME?

Anyway, from the customer master the table for partners is KNVP and from the sales documents is VBPA. Field KNREF is available in both.

I was looking at getting the partner NAME.

its wyt3-lifn2. and then I can get the name1 from lfa1 by passing wyt3-lifn2 to lfa1-lifnr.

Ok, WYT3 is not a sales table.

If you know the vendor code then you can fetch the description NAME1 from table LFA1 by passing vendor code LIFNR.
