Mass changes in multiple BOM

Hi,

We have a raw material which is part of BOM for several different models finished goods. Now we want to reduce the quantity of this raw material from 4 nos to 3 nos in all the BOM's of FG at one shot. Please let me know since in CS20 we can only do for single material at a time.

Dear Yuvaraj,

Try using T codes CS20 or else CEWB.

For your case I dont think it's possible even through BDC/LSMW you will be able to make the changes at

the same time for more than one raw-material.

Check & revert back.

Please try with T codes CS20,CEWB

It is better to go for getting a BDC developed for all the mass changes in the BOM.

Using CS20 you can only change a single component and replace with a new material. I think BDC is the best alternative.

Use mass changecs20 or LSMW/BDC .

Hi Yuvraj,

Go to the T -Code CEWB,select current working area as SAP_BOM.

On next screen select Tab additional selection criteria,there give input as your requirred material & plant then execute.

on next screen do the changes as per your requirement & save.

In this way also you can do the Mass Change.

CS20 will not work out for you as the data is huge, better to go with BDC development or LSMW

Hi Youvraj,

Yes You can change it via CS20.

Go to CS20 and select Change Item data.

Select same material in reference Object and new Item data.

Just give new Item qty in Item changes data and execute.Select all those BOM where you want to change the Qty.

And press Change Item data.
