Actual SKF postings - can we specify a version other than 000 ?

Hi all,

To satisfy a data reporting requirement we have we were looking at recording actual SKF postings against a version other than 000 (essentially to seperate this data from our regular postings against version 000). I've had a look at transaction KB31N and the customising for its variants and cannot see an option to speficy the version the posting goes to via this transaction.

We are on R/3 4.7.

Can someone please advise if there is a way to specifiy the version that actual SKF postings are to go to ?

Many thanks,

Blair

Hi,

the answer is no. Apart from the issue of delta versions, actuals are always posted to version 0. There is no exception to this rule for SKF.

Hi!,

Please let me know in whcih scenario, you want version. while creating SKFs, there is no need to metnion versions. you can use these SKFS in distribution & assessment cycles i.e for cost allocations. You can have planned & Actual SKFs. SKFs will be used to distribute the costs to among receiver cost objects.

Please elaborate your query.
