Master Data Maintenance

Dear SAP Guru's

I've been told to take up a role to maintain the integrity of master data .. could anyone give me some advice or perhaps links about stuff which I would be expecting and have to consider...

Basically the role is a master data analyst role.. I've been a SD and MM analyst for about 2 years but I'm new to the tasks in this new role and dont know what to expect...and i'm hoping to look for some guidance on what basically does this role involve and perhaps any supporting links would be great.

Hi there,

What do you mean by integrity of master data? Does it mean to see that master data in all the SAP instances is same?
