Dear Friends,
at the Backend R/3 a Bapi Functıon Module has been changed.
Generally what is the common way within NWDS regarding the affected Model.
İs it needed to reimport this mentioned Bapi else what has to be done.
Regards
sas
HI,
1. If only the code has been changed in the RFC then no need to do anything, just execute your application once again and it will act as per your new changes.
2. If there is a change in the signature (import, export or table) parameters then you need to re-import the model and restart the EP server once in order to invalidate the old cached metadata.

Hi,
if the Functıon Module changes in Backend except the business logic, it need to be reimported.
even if you reimport the RFC ,some times you get errors due to metacache.
so after reimport if you get the errors ,server need to restart.

Hi,
It depends on the kind of change that this BAPI has undergone. If it's only the implementation code then at the WD side nothing needs to be changed. But if any of the importing parameters, tables parameters or exporting parameters have changed then a reimport of the model is needed.
