Can CRM3.0 be upgraded to CRM2007 directly?

Hi! Gurus:

We have a requirement for above upgraded and I do not have an access to Market Place.

Would you please help answer this question? High-level overview of the procedure is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The below information is helpful to solve your problem.

SAP CRM 2007 is based on SAP Netweaver 7.0.Therefore SAP CRM 2007 uses SAP Netweaver 7.0 capabilities.

You can upgrade SAP CRM 4.0,5.0 and 5.2 to SAP CRM 2007.However the upgrade is not a part of the standard delivery,it can only be done as part of a customer project.It is possbile to upgrade from SAP CRM 5.2 to SAP CRM 2007 using the standard upgrade tools.To upgrade from SAP CRM 4.0 or 5.0,yu can use the standard tools only for some components,for example ,the CRM Application server.For most of the components,including the webclient UI,an upgrade is not possible;they must be migrated.

The following minimum support package levels are required as a prerequisite for the upgrade:

SAP CRM 4.0(With and without service industry Add-On) to SAP CRM 2007

BBPCRM 400 SP06,SAP_ABA,SAP_BASIS SP12

Service industry Add-On SP00

SAP CRM 5.0 TO SAP CRM 2007

BBPCRM 500 SP01,SAP_ABA,SAP_BASIS,SAP_BW SP04

SAP CRM 5.2 to SAP CRM 2007

BBPCRM 520 SP00,SAP_ABA,SAP_BASIS,SAP_BW SP04
