will SAP supports 100% EOU units? if so, How
Dear Raghavendra
I would like to add some more comments apart from what has already been said here.
The basic requirements of licence capturing like DEPB, EPCG, BRC are not at all covered in SAP. These are very much required by every exporters in India and we have to develop on our own. So be it 100% EOU or SEZ, you can configure the basic requirements in SAP.
Also for information, 100% EOU will normally be located in the earmarked area allotted by Government, but some manufacturing units (which are not located in these designated areas) have also declared themselves as 100% EOU. Whenever exports made from these units, no ARE-1 will be issued as like normal export process from a manufacturing plant.
thanks

Hi
For this 100% economic zones like sez for Indian scenarios we have two types
1.tax expected and excise also excempteed
2.only tax exempted
for this sez scenarios when same customer taking normal sales and sez also we can create a one sales group. for this we can maintain the master records for tax exemptions for excise excemptions we can create a one access sequence for for sales group we can maintain the condition records as zero we can get sez sales

Hi,
SAP supports EOU configuration.
1. Units undertaking to export their entire production of goods and services, except permissible sales in the DTA (Duty Tariff Amount u2013 Local Sales), as per this Policy, may be set up under the Export Oriented Unit (EOU) Scheme, Electronic Hardware Technology Park (EHTP) Scheme or Software Technology Park (STP) Scheme for manufacture of goods, including repair, re-making, reconditioning, re-engineering, and rendering of services. No trading units shall, however, be permitted.
2. zero-rate excise duty applicable for customers that qualify as 100% EOUs.
3. At the time of excise invoice creation, the excise value is zero in the pro forma excise invoice document. No excise duty is debited to the CENVAT account, and so no accounting entries are generated. However, the sale is marked as a deemed export, and the system generates an outgoing excise invoice.
4. Even though the excise duty is zero, it is needed to print the excise duty value in excise invoice.
Regards
Goutham
