Deletion of Business Partner from tcode "BP"

Hi!

I set up ChaRM functionality and have the problem that for one existing Business Partner

from tcode "BP" the error message comes up:

The current business partner does not have a vald assignment to change Request Manager or Organization.

Therefore I would like to delete this value from tcode BP and recreate them.

Question

Does anyone know how to delete business partner from tcode "BP"?

Are there some report, functional module, etc. for this approach?

Hello Thom,

You will be able to delete only the BP which are not assigned to any object like CR.

Hey Thom,

There is a tcode called CRM_DNO_MONITOR which can be used to find out if the business partner entered is involved in any of the business transactions..

Hi!

When I try tp delete a business partner by usage of tcode "BUPA_DEL" I get the warning that this business partner will be used in some transactions.

Therefore I closed all the messages with theis assignment.

Unfortunately when I start CRM_DNO_MONITOR I see that some service desk messages with this business partner still exist, bu are closed.

Question:

What is the report or tcode to delete all the closed Service Desk messages?

Watch out when deleting BPs, as this is used to link your user with the Service Desk.

If you delete a BP, searching on this in the Transaction Monitor is not possible any more (and can sometimes be useful for historical reasons even when somebody left the company).

You can also set the archive flag for a BP in TA BP > tab page Status.

It's transaction BUPA_DEL.

run it with the test mode checkbox first to make sure everything is ok, then uncheck the box and run it again to make them be deleted for real.
