Basic Configuration of CCM

Dear Experts,

We are in the process of setting up system for CCM 2.0. Need the following clarifications

1 Advantages of having CCM 2.0 in different Client from EBP? Any harm in having EBP and CCM in the same client. Do we need to take any precautions if both are in the same client

2 Do we need to have separate server for TREX? Is TREX compulsory for CCM 2.0 implementation?

Also please suggest us with useful link for start up documentation on CCM 2.0
