No. of paralle CIF queues

Hi,

We have two R/3 systems connected to APO.

I want to find out

1. How many parallel CIF queues can be handled by the system? Both master and transaction data. I mean if one queue is stuck, the system sends data in a parallel queue right?

2. Where do you set the no. of parallel queues?

3. Is it possible to have different number of parallel queues by R/3 system?

Thanks.

Raj,

You can know more about the parallelisation in CIF at following Link.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm41/helpdata/en/d2/3e089134134b44ad7f7d33251db911/frameset.htm

For Point 1 :

If queue is stuck for an object type say product master, the subsequent of product master will not haven if one of the product master has an issue. Also along with this, dependant object types using the product master like Purchase Order will also be stuck and will not be transfered parallely.

For Point 2 and 3,please refer the above link.

If one queue is stuck for that object like particular material system will not process other queue of the same object. It will be in wating status.

Yaa you can define how any attempt system try to processs queue before it will come to fail status.
