Yes possible through back ground job.
For this ABAP customizing is required. You can define a job with the following steps in SM36:
After PO is created, then the 1st step will create a delivery. The prog should call the VL10B transaction.
The next step is the prog that will update the picking, packing & PGI. If any IDOCS are to be triggered or inbound IDOCs posted into the delivery, relevant progs should also have to be called.
Variants should be defined for this where you mention the selection criteria & otherinpit details like delivery type, PO type, shippping point & dselivery date details.
Schedule the job to run every 3 hrs for eg daily.
