Hi,
There is nothing wrong in sending same material from different palnts to same customer.
The spilitting criteria for delivery is shipping point. If the shipping point is same, then you can send the materials from different plants in one delivery document. If the shipping points are different, then you have to send the materials in different delivery documents.
In SSA, which EDI meesage are you using. Is it 830 or 862? Are you creating deliveries also using EDI? If so, which EDI?

Hi there,
Even though your plants are different, if your shipping points are the same for both the plants, then you can combine them into same delivery.
But if the shipping points are different, then there will be delivery split as like in normal delivery.
So when you create a sales order through an EDI, there will be 2 different line items if there are different shipping points. There will be 2 diffferent deliveries. But if you want to send as a single shipment to the customer, then have the same delivery grouping in sales order main screen shipping
