Dear Sairam

In ISU there is Connection Object, Premise, Contract Account etc. This contract account is related to FICA. Now in CRM when you create Customer Account, Billing Account and Service Account, on creation of serivce Account you need to specify premise connection object Installation location and Business Agreement. Business Agreement in CRM corresponds to Contract Account in ISU.

Thanks and regards

MA Data Model in CRM & IS-U

CRM Business Partner will be mapped to IS-U Business Partner.

CRM Master Agreement and MA Contract item will be mapped to Outline Contract in ISU.

CRM Installation will be mapped to ISU Installation (Permises, Installation & POD).

Business agreement in CRM will be mapped to Contract Account.

Best Regards,

Deepak Gupta

Hi sri.,

actually for utilities, the dependency relation is the other way around: The IS-U/CCS system is based on/ part of ERP and can run standalone, CRM can be used as an option in addition to that.

In the CRM system there are some utilities scenarios implemented, primarily in the area of the interaction center but also others for key account managers etc. On top of that, one can use lots of generic CRM functionality also in the context of the utilities industry such as in marketing etc.

If you run a Utilities CRM in combination with the IS-U/CCS, few objects are being replicated/ synchronized via CRM middleware and in the call center environment some processes go back to IS-U/CCS directly.

Best regards

Hello Sairam,

Briefly, CRM and its IcWebclient call center solution are used for front office processes for Utilities: move-in/out, budget billing/payment plan creation, bill correction, product proposal. ISU ERP is used for back office processing, accounting, device management and so on.

Replication of basic business objects between two systems takes place via bDocs.

The business objects which are replicated between two systems are: business partner, contract, contract account (business aggreement on CRM), contacts, installed base (connection object).

Best Regards,
