Hi experts

plz clarify my doubts

i created PIR with one version plan ,if i try to create PIR with different version ,error message is coming that already one version already exit.

if i create with one more version what will happened ,how the M R P will plan for different version

Dear,

Where are you creating the version?

Active version is only, relevant to MRP. for that we use A00 version.

iam sorry ,not version , Requirement plan ,

if i create 2 PIR with production plan as well as sales plan

how the MRP takes place

Hi,

Under one requirement plan you can maintain one material at a time but you can use same requirement number to plan the other material.

So according the active version you can plan your requirement.

Suppose requirement plan no 1234 in MD61

having two material X and Y so in MD61 you will get option active version in frontf these material fourt coulm.

The active tick mark material will get planned by MRP.

hi

my doubt is that i planed for x material with production plan, again I am planing same material x with other requirement plan ,at that time i am getting error that for material x already requirement is already exits.

if i plan even though what will happen

how the M R P will plan ,

Hi,

It will depend upon the selection of Planning mode in MD01 or 02.

System will adjust the requirement which fall in same time period.

Hi,

By entering one or more version numbers for a demand program, you can use the version management function.

The system uses the version number that you enter there as a default value for the items which are to be created.

Examples

By using versions, you can distinguish, for example, between planned independent requirements which have different references (sales plan, production plan, and so on).

MRP will plan for active version only
