Could not determine the year for TDS certificate number range

Hi All,

When i am going to post the FB60 with TDS document I am getting this error. Today i have done certificate number range with vendors.before without certificate numbers i was posted the document.

"Could not determine the year for TDS certificate number range"

The excise year could not be determined for generating the numbers for TDS Certificates. The number range is linked to the Excise Year and not on the financial year directly

Where do i need to set Excise year.

Please help me on this it is very important .

Dear friend

Go to Logistis general -Tax on Goods movements-basis Setting-maintain Co code setting just maintina your co code .

Then save it

Hope this will slove your problem

Hi,

Please check the following settings

IMG > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Basic Settings > Maintain Company Code Settings

Please check whether you have defined the start month of Excise year?

Also check whether you have defined the Number range for TDS Certificate?

IMG > Financial Accounting (New) > Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) > Withholding Tax > Extended Withholding Tax > Posting > Certificate Numbering for Withholding Tax
