ReOrder level...

Hi All,

Which lot size i suppose to create for consumption based Reorder point material for below formula.

Order qty = Reorder level + Economical Order Qty - current stock - open PR - open PO

Order Qty = (10 + 5) - (723)

= (15) - (12)

= 3

Which lot size or config i should go for it?.

thanks.

hi,

Did you take safety stock for delayed delieveries....???

> When i see your data and your calculation...i see that mostly you company donot maintain much data at the same time....so the no. of pr's n PO's taken in the cal. is also less....and same with the reorder point..which is 10....so i think tht lot for lot ie. Fix lot will be the best option...so for this the lot size will also be 3....

hope it helps...

Regards

Use EX as lot size, keep 5 as safety stock and 7 as reorder level with MRP type VB. So on MRP run u will get a PR for 3 as per your example.
