Hi all,
Please provide a suitable solution for the below mentioned scenario.
The company is having locations in 4 places, say locations 1,2,3&4. In addition to this they have 4 products, say product 1,2,3,&4. The above 4 products are traded in all 4 locations. I need a report to get details of income and expenses of product 1 in location 1&2. Likewise I need a report of combined 2 products under 1 location. Please provide a suitable solution to map this in Business One.

Dear Balaji,
The profit centre can be used in this case. Under Financial - Cost Accounting it is possible to set up the different profit centres and the distribution Rule.

Why do you think you need Profit Center? If the locations are setup as individual warehouse then a SQL report can be generated on one of the SAP reports can be used.
Otherwise we can use Projects

Thanks for your reply, what I meant by income & expense is actually profit & loss statement for a particular product or location. If I set location as warehouse I would be knowing only the stock movement rather than invoice payments and indirect expenses towards that goods.
