Stock transfer inspection lot

I want to generate stock transfer inspection for only one movement type ie 344. Can we restrick stock transfer inspen lot generation for this mvt type alone. Clinet need inspection for some particular material when it is moved from blocked to unrestricted after repairing.

Lot should not get generated for any other mvt types like 343 etc.

If so plz let me know customising path.. i jus checked mvt type control for lots and got a bit confused there seeing different mvt types.

Hi Jaison,

If you want Stock transfer inspection lot use movement type 322, 349.

- run trx OMJJ

- Select the Movement type Check box

- Enter the Movement type 344 in the from field.

- Go in the folder "Deactivate QM inspection / delivery category"

- Activate the check box "QM not active"

If we activate the check box 'QM Not Activate' for Movt. Type '344' then .... is there any inspection lot will generate???

I feel that no inspection lot will be generate in that case.

When we want to genearte the inspection lot for '344' &

no inspection lot required for the '343' so Activation of the check box might be for movt tye '343'.

Please clear my doubts.

I think shyam misunderstood my required mvt type... I want lot to get generated for 344. and lot should not get generated for any other mvt types like 343, 321, 349 etc...

Then you may try with Activate the Check box of the Column 'QM Not Active' for movement type '343',349 etc.

But Please do not activate it in movt type '344' as you required the inspection lot for this movt. type.

Ooooopsss Sorry for the miss understanding.

Dear Atul, you are 100% correct. Activation of this check box will omit inspection lot for that particular movement type.

As the STD description for this field suggest so and it woks also accordingly.

"If you set this indicator for a movement type, no inspection lots are

Movement Type for QM Inspection Processing Not Active

    If you set this indicator for a movement type, no inspection lots are created for stock postings.

So it should be activated if you don't want the lot

Now to Jaison,

Again regretting about the misunderstanding!!!

Dear, I think in addition to it I think you will be in need to add the movement type at......

SPRO->Quality Management->Quality Inspection->Inspection Lot Creation->Inspection for Goods Movements--->Deactivate Quality Inspection for a Movement Type.

Here add the movement type 344 and "DON'T CHECK THE CHECK BOX QM NOT ACTIVE"
