HI

you need to active the inspection set up with inspection tyrp 03 In-process insp. for production order in the material master (MM01/mm02)

then you have to creat the task list(CA01) for the material with master inspection charectristcs.

to craeet MICS got to QS21

to carete teh catologues got to QS41/ for selected sets QS51

ao these are the masters for the QM during production (insprocess inspection)

Hi,

Inspection Point is used in Inspection type 03 - i.e. inprocess inspection. The inspection lot will be generated once the Procduction order created/Released depending on the customization.

The Inspection type 03 is assigned in material master QM view.

The Inspection point defines how the inspection to be carried out during the production process. i.e. quanitity basis or time basis or freely defined. for example every 20 pcs or every half an hour etc.

The inspection point is assigned in the Routing or Master Recipe header.There are standard inspection points availabble in SAP for the above mentioned requirements.

No need not specifically create inspection points.

These functionality will be used for inspection type03 or 13.

You have to assign inspection point idetifier in header screen of routing/rate routing.

when production order is relesed, inspection lot will get created & inspection points also created by system.

I want to work this in SAP.So please give me field wise details

and how to carryout inspection with the assignments made.
