error when starting application server

after installation of SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version on windows Vista, i got the following error when I try to start the application server:

Error! Connection failed to node (local) for database NSP:

-24700,ERR_DBMSRV_NOSTART: Could not start DBM server.

-24832,ERR_SHMNOTAVAILABLE: Shared memory not available

-24827,ERR_SHMALLOCFAILED: ID C:\sapdb\data\wrk\NSP.dbm.shi, requested size 2560

Error: Error while calling dbmcli

"C:\sapdb\programs\pgm\dbmcli" -d NSP -u , db_online

============== Start database failed !

..."

could anyone help?

We're you able to get the database started? I have the same isue with my vista install.

Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I successfully installed SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version on Vista home edition. I was able to start the application server by following the steps outlined by Marcelo Ramos at the following link:
