Hi all,
I am new to workflow. I am in learning mode.
While I am creating Tasks in PFTC t.code, When I am saving the task, I got a error like "Prefix number: entry missing for system EC6 client 800". What is this error and how to correct it?
Thanks in advance
Sai
Hello,
You need to do the initial configuration for the workflow environment in transaction SWU3. Especially you are missing the prefix -part there.

Hi,
1)give SWU3.
2) Under the tab "Maintain Definition Environment", you have the option of "Maintain Prefix Numbers". Execute it.
3)give prefix no(for e.g. 969) SAP system(For e.g. AED) client(for e.g. 300) and give apprppriate package (For e.g. $TMP).
Active it.
Hope Magic Works!

Hello,
As mentioned above, You have to maintain the prefix numbers range for the custom workflows. This can be done in the transaction SWU3. Under the tab "Maintain Definition Environment", you have the option of "Maintain Prefix Numbers". Execute it and give a number range.
Hope this will help.

Sam
