hi

pick list is used for p-ending materials s which haven't yet issued for order, we can issue pending materials by selecting particular material

am i correct

if i use back flushing ,will it worked out ......

Hi,

Both pick list & backflush you can post GI for your Production Order.

In case of pick list you generate reservation for components required and issue it after releasing the production order.

In case of backflush your GI is coupled with Confirmation. As soon as you carry out Final Confirmation of the order GI will be done automatically for the components for which you have maintained backflush provided you have enough stock for that material in the respective storage location.

However issuing components with Backflush is possible in only case of if you are doing final confirmation only for production order and not partial / time ticket confirmation. In case you are confirming partially / operation by operation you need to do GI by pick list whereas in case of direct final confirmation you can automate GI by coupling it with Confirmation.

Hi

Pick list is different from back flush.

Pick list is used to select the components for all the production orders if you select a range.

This list can be printed & used for drawing the material from the stores.But Back flushing is used to issue the material for a single production order Or for a single operation.

Both are for different purpose.
