Hello all,
I do the following on the newly installed Linux/Oracle system.
2. Choose any item on the list, I get the following on a pop-up
Enter username and password for "SAP J2EE Engine - System Info" at http://localhost:50000/
What is the default ID and password for this? All I want to do is just get in 😐
TIA
Casey,
Are you trying to access the portal from the same system on which the installation took place?
Try this
http://localhost:50000/irj/portal
If you are accessing the system remotely, it is always advised to give the FQDN instead of local host.
NOTE : In the host file under C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/host
In this file make an entry with the IP adderss and FQDN.
With regards to your password, you should be knowing the password that you might have given during the installation.
Try recollecting the password for user J2EE_ADMIN and you are good to go.
Good Luck!

Are you have JAVA or ABAPJAVA ? If you have only JAVA when user are Administrator, if ABAPJAVA --> J2EE_ADMIN. If you have ABAP+JAVA but cant see system information , try to check in 001 client (ABAP side) this users
roles (are you see SAP_J2EE_ADMIN ?)
Are this role green for J2EE_ADMIN? Try to check this role.
Regards.
The system I have is ABAP+JAVA.
I went to SU01 and out of desperation, added SAP_NEW and SAP_ALL to J2EE_ADMIN.
The role mentioned was present and green.
When logging in from a regular SAP front-end, no problems. But, when logging in from
I get the same error.
How exactly does this work? It does not seem to use anything from SU01
TIA
Try to read in Rules how you can say thanks on forum --> https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/home/rulesofEngagement
