I AM sap sd consultant who wants to learn sap BI.i am not an engineer.wd it make a gud combination and wd it dramatically increase my pay package and abroad options.please advise

Yes. It depends on how many years you have been working. Based on my experience, the road from SD to BW/BI is a very natural path, as you in SD have to deal with all the Sales issues, and in BW/BI you usually start with complex analysis on Sales, so previous SD experience is a good capital/experience/exposure to start with BI.

In BI, however, is advisable to have an engineering background as you will have to deal with many "basis-like" issues. Just my 2 cents.
